Six Lolas for The Match Factory titles
A raft of Gold and Silver Lolas for three films of The Match Factory
»STOPPED ON TRACK«, »BARBARA« and »GERHARD RICHTER PAINTING« have harvested six Lolas in total. The films were honoured with Gold and Silver in the major categories at the German Film Awards Gala in Berlin.
Andreas Dresen's »STOPPED ON TRACK« won four of the most important trophies, the Golden Lola for Best Film, Best Director, the Lola for Best Male Leading Role Milan Peschel and Best Male Supporting Role Otto Mellies.
Christian Petzold's »BARBARA« won the Silver Lola and »GERHARD RICHTER PAINTING« by Corinna Belz won the Lola for the Best Documentary Feature.

Berlinale ends with awards for Bence Fliegauf, Christian Petzold and Miguel Gomes
The Match Factory cordially congratulates Bence Fliegauf for winning the Grand Jury Silver Bear for his film »Just the Wind (Csak a Szél)« as well as the Amnesty International Film Prize and Peace Film Prize.
Christian Petzold marks his international breakthrough with a Silver Bear for Best Director for »Barbara«. Which also received the audience award of the Berliner Morgenpost.

Congratulations to Miguel Gomes for receiving the Alfred Bauer Prize and the International Critics' Prize (FIPRESCI) for his film »Tabu«.
Furthermore »The Wall« by Julian Roman Pölsler received the prize of the Ecumenical Jury in the Panorama Section.
The Match Factory is overwhelmed by this years most successful EFM and Berlinale and congratulates the filmmakers to this wonderful success!

María León and Benito Zambrano have been awarded at the 59th San Sebastián International Film Festival.
María León has been awarded at the 59th San Sebastián International Film Festival with the SILVER SHELL as best actress for her performance in the film »The Sleeping Voice« (La Voz Dormida) directed by Benito Zambrano.
Furthermore, Benito Zambrano has received the festival's "Elkartasun Saria Guipuzcoan Blood-Donors' Association corresponding to the solidarity award" for his film »The Sleeping Voice« (La Voz Dormida).
The Match Factory compliments María León and Benito Zambrano on their success.
